I let the night progress, and if I reach a point where I’m afraid he wants more than I want, I say it (i.e., “just so you know, I’m not tryna have sex tonight…”)

True sexual union requires complete and utter giving of one’s body to the other, a mutual submission of one’s self in a bond of love. Only in this way will sex be unstained by selfish lust and bodily desires of any form. Therefore, giving proper consent occurs when the husband and wife say “I do” in marriage, because it is in a marital bond that one most completely and utterly offers one’s self to one’s spouse.

The moderators of this page fully support all consensual sexual lifestyles, including the decision to abstain until marriage.  We do, however, feel it necessary to add that in a marital relationship, explicit consent is still required for each and every sexual act.  It should never be assumed.

I will give consent when I marry my future spouse.  My consent will be after a vow of love and fidelity until death splits us apart.  It will be for one person only, my future spouse.
