True sexual union requires complete and utter giving of one’s body to the other, a mutual submission of one’s self in a bond of love. Only in this way will sex be unstained by selfish lust and bodily desires of any form. Therefore, giving proper consent occurs when the husband and wife say “I do” in marriage, because it is in a marital bond that one most completely and utterly offers one’s self to one’s spouse.

The moderators of this page fully support all consensual sexual lifestyles, including the decision to abstain until marriage.  We do, however, feel it necessary to add that in a marital relationship, explicit consent is still required for each and every sexual act.  It should never be assumed.
